can anyone help just wondering my father in law starting new job gross pay is 37440 he married man and he would be entilted to cliam tax credit of €3000 for dependent child and €900 carers tax credit does anyone know what is take home pay would be?

Try www.taxcalc.eu . It may not cater for the specific tax credits that you mention but you can just deduct these from the end of year tax figure that it returns without them.
