I have been working in the states full time for an Irish company the last 1.5 years. I have been home about 10 times, 3-4 days at a time on average.
I was wondering if I would be entitled to a tax refund as I have been paying all my tax in Ireland and have not worked one day in Ireland in over a year and a half.
Would I have to declare non residency or is there another way of going about this?

If you mean in relation to the [broken link removed] relief that used to be available in circumstances such as these then you should note that this was abolished a few years ago.

For what it's worth [broken link removed] contains some info about residency etc.[broken link removed] may also point to some relevant info (see section 7.4).
