Currently applying for a job in Dell in Dublin. Any comments/opinions on what they are like to work for?
 
Thanks for that. My main concern is that they seem to have a high turnover of employees and lots of redundancy programmes over recent years, then again most companies probably had this to a certain degree. Hard to know.
 
DELL seem to be offering high salaries for certain projects (non manufacturing), but I have my doubts about the viability of these projects in the medium to long-term.
 
Whats high salaries and why do you think they wont last? Its not there new cloud products by any chance is it?
 
Yes, cloud. It's only my opinion that they won't last, but what have DELL got to do with Cloud? They are a manufacturing operation. As for high salaries, I only have anecdotal evidence which I don't want to mention here, but I guess they have to offer high salaries to get people to consider them?

Maybe I am wrong.
