Hi all,

Basically am currently building my house. Will be installing oil central heating, but I am now thinking of putting in a wood pellet stove in the kitchen with facility for boiler to feed into the central heating system.I talked to my plumber but he said I would need a chimney for the stove?I dint argue the point with him but I thought it might be possible to install a flue or something similar for this? Can anyone clarify this?
Also can anyone reccomend a good wood pellet stove and something that might fit nicely into the kitchen without being an eye sore?

Thanks,
T.

You are right - a twin walled flue can be, and usually is, used instead of a chimney
