In May of last year we replaced all windows in our new to us home. We put in pvc windows and wooden window boards. In the past 6-8 weeks the window boards have started to pull away from the window leaving gaps between the bottom of the window and where the bord should be. This is leaving us with terrible drafts around the base of the windows-hardly acceptable. Is this a 'normal' thing to happen to wooden boards-that they move? Should I try to get the problem sorted myself or should I be getting back onto the window company?
