Wooden Slat Blinds on Patio Doors...

I'm about to measure up and do a shop for either bamboo or wooden slat blinds. I was just wondering if I go for this type of blind on every other window in the house, is it possible to use them on the patio door? Its not as if they can be pushed aside on a rail when opening a door. Unless theres a way of attaching them to the door itself?

Will it look strange if I have slats on every other window and have to go for a different type of blind for the patio door?

We have these blinds on our patio doors - they fit a couple of clips at the end to stop them fouling the door. Works weel for when we're opening / closing the doors and on a windy day if the door is open.

Hold on...i'm losing the run of myself today!

Their sliding doors so they couldnt be attached. I suppose i will have to go with a type of blind that can slide over along a rail when the door is being used.

Ah yes, one snag, our doors opened outwards...sliding doors would be a non runner (excuse the pun)
