Wooden shutters

Has anybody come across resonably cheap shutters anywhere? I've seen them priced over 350e/SqM which seems very expensive.

1)How much does the hurricane panel weigh?
2)From what material is the hurricane panel made?
3)How do I attach the hurricane panel?
4)Can I use the hurricane panels on basswood shutters style shutters?
