Wood Chip vs Pellet

I am building a new home presently and am thinking of installing either a wood chip or a wood pellet burner.
I'm just wondering what the opinion is out there on which system is best?

Cost wise and in terms of producing heat/fuel efficiency etc...

Also how easy is it to obtain wood pellets? Apparently Belcas deal with these in Fermanagh, but has anyone dealt with them before and how have you found them.
