Women are crap with PIN numbers - shock survey

According to The Register, women take security less seriously than men when it comes to choosing PINs for their bank cards. A poll of over 500 British men and women, by internet security testing specialist NTA Monitor, found that women are more likely to choose one PIN for all their cards. Two thirds of the women questioned used the same PIN for all their cards. Only one in three men adopted the same practice.

Looks Like I'm special so.
I still haven't gotten around to changing my Chip And Pin number, hense, I still can't remember it.

An equally (in?)valid conclusion from this survey might be that men are lazier than women because they don't bother to change all of the card PINs to the same number. :\

I confess that when I get a new PIN, I immediately change it to one of a very short number of PINs (greater than one but substantially less then 10) which I am more likely to remember. :)

The only PINs that I have are four digits - are some PINs longer? (Told you that men were too lazy to check this stuff out! ;) ).

To put a little bit of balance into this topic. All my pins are 4 digit numbers which are the exact same. The numbers have no relevance to anything in my life - they are just numbers.

I was about to say mine are all the same till I saw the above post about mobile pin. Doh !

I've always been good with remembering numbers. I can remember all of my friends home phone numbers from when they were kids and even some ex-girlfriends numbers (which is bound to get me into trouble some day :) )...so I have about 10-20 different numbers that I need to remember for various things.
I even know all my bank account numbers and credit card numbers off by heart.

I feel like rain man all of a sudden ;)

I rarely choose the same four digits for anything, be it PIN, alarm code or whatever...

Now if you'll excuse me I was in the middle of reciting pi...:p

and even some ex-girlfriends numbers

It's better to say you can remember them ALL. If you say some you'll be hit with the "What was so special about them?" Question.

And there's just no good answer for that one.
