winter veg

Hi all,

looking for a little advice,I recently started a small veg patch,had beet root ,lettuce,leeks,parsnips and radishes,lettuce this summer,Tho the parsnips and leeks will be winter crops they are doing nicley.

Was wondering is there any veg that can be sown now that woll grop thgrought the winter!!??

any assistance appriacated>>

turnips and carrots, not sure if its too late for carrots but turnips can be sowed still

You can also get winter onions - I believe the Japanese varieties are the ones to go for (?).
