Hi
What are peoples opions on the above for using the internet.Which is safer and quicker.

Firefox is faster and safer. It helps you to protect you your pc/laptop. It doesn't let you to go on sites which are dangerous for your computer. Helps you also to block the irritating pop up-s.
 
prefer Safari myself on my mac but I keep FF as a backup.

my PC brother uses chrome. he says it's pretty fast.
 
I was a devout FF user but have found it has become very slow to startup (always a bit of a problem) which has never been improved upon,also is starting to crash very frequently.I converted to google chrome and I love it.

I found that too. And disabled the attack sites and forgeries checker. which sped it up and made it more reliable.

Made it less secure, though

I rely on my firewall and AV to keep me safe. And my love to keep me warm...
 
Give Chrome a bash too and see what you think of both.
