Windows freezing XP

I have windows XP with IE exploer 6.0 update SP3

Most of the time I can't right click on say pictures or files as windows freezes and closes the application and error report pops up to send the information somewhere.

It's been like this a long time, haven't had time to sit down and sort it out. PC is about 5 years old but it wasn't like this at first.

Has anyone had anything similar or ways to fix?

I know this is the exact same as i have posted to another question but i have had great success using the below applications - give thenm a try and see how you get on
