Window security lock

Do you know where I could find window security lock handle? I tried homebase, woodies but they only have window security lock for wooden frame not for PVC so I am not sure if you can put it on PVC window and I would much prefer have security lock on handle.

You first need to check if the current handle is just screwed on or riveted on if screwed on go to your local pvc manufacturer and they should be able to help you - you may need to know the spindle thickness (7mm or 9mm) so that the new handle will fit into your espag lock. If riveted on it may need to be professionally replaced.

(It is illegal to lock a bedroom window as it is a means of a fire escape, yet the insurance companies ask the question if you have lockable handles?)

that is because of insurance that I need to change for window security lock. The handle are screwed so it is easy to take it off.
