Window Cleaner in South Dublin City

I'm returning to college in September, and I've been thinking of innovative ways of earning money whilst I'm there. Would window cleaning in an area, such as Rannelagh, be a feasible option? I am talking with regards to demand of course. I have six years experience doing this job in my hometown.

I can't help thinking you'd be joining a long line of redundant builders into this field but if you think you can provide a reliable service, go for it. I work in property management and a good, reliable tradesman is worth his weight in gold. Might be worth getting your name out to the agencies in the area as well as approaching individual households. Bear in mind though, if you're doing this properly you'll need insurance and as soon as you mention you go up ladders, the premium shoots up! Although you can get long handled tools.

Can't help thinking you might be better off going further South where there is a higher density of new housing estates.

You would think there would be a glut of flyers in the door about this service, but there isn't. Not a one since my regular window cleaner abandoned his round about 4 months ago.
