Will Liquidator pay Redundancy

I am working for a small Company that is now having major problems paying their Suppliers and more worringly paying the wages, with longer delays each month end. I feel its only a matter of time until one supplier brings them to court and then we can expect a liquidator to arrive. Now I understand the liquidator will pay staff any outstanding wages but will he pay Redundancy too ?

There's a section in the link above on Employer's insolvency.

If a liquidator is appointed, and there are sufficient funds available, they should pay both wages and redundancy. However, there may well be insufficient funds to do this, in which case both can be claimed from the Dept of Social Protection. However, there are two problems with this: (1) it takes time - currently 6 to 8 weeks for redundancy and potentially many months for any salary owed and (2) there is a cap on any salary that will be repaid.
