I have just applyed for a rented property.
i am single and pregnant..also unemployed..on job seekers allowance.
my dad who is a home owner and who has excellent credit rating is my guarantor and he is paying my 1000£ deposit.
my plans are to pay for the house using housing benefit.
but will the landlord accept me, the fact that i have stated that i am unemployed..(i have no ccj's or defaults)..but my dad is acting as guarantor.
i havnt told the estate agents that i am planning to claim housing benefit, as the benefit office told me that the landlord doesnt need to know .. as the money goes into my bank to pay him every month.
