Will i receive a P60 for 2008?

hey guys, i was made redundant and finished work on the 31st of may 2008, i was just wondering if i will receive a P60 for 2008 since i only worked half the year. I rang revenue and the guy said i wont receive one because i wasnt working at the end of the year, is this correct?

hi this is correct as you have to be employed at the end of december to be entitle to a P60
