Will I get Redundancy if the company I am working for goes into compulsory liquidation?

Or will I be lucky to get my last weeks wages?

Thanks,

See here for information about statutory redundancy:

If you're entitled to statutory redundancy and the employer can't/won't pay then the DETE redundancy payments scheme will cover the payments instead (see below).

Non-statutory redundancy payments are a contractual matter between you and your employer or else negotiated on an individual or collective bargaining basis.

Contact the DETE employment rights or redundancy payments section for advice on your rights if necessary:

Don't forget that you may be entitled to Unemployment Benefit (PRSI payment related) or Unemployment Assistance and perhaps other welfare payments for any period of unemployment.
