will i get job seekers allowance

Hi I have just been made redundant. I work 17.5 hours a week and pay a NI contribution each week. I have worked at company for 4 years. Will I be able to get any job seekers allowance as I will be looking for work?

Yes I am in the Uk and I have worked at the firm for four and a half years continuous
