I am on maternity leave at the moment due to end shortly. I will need to cut my hours and doless when I return to work. It had been confirmed that there will be redundancies coming up in the next couple of weeks - if i cut my hours to go back to work will this mean a redundancy offer would be based wholly on the new lesser hours or would my old number of hours be taken into consideration for calculation. In other words will i be penalised in redundancy calculation if I go back to work under less hours (less hours is my choice to balance family needs). thanks
