Will credit history be affected ??

Hi,
Quick one but if i get refused for a mortgage from a bank the first time, will it show up on the I.C.B (credit history place) as refused a mortgage ?

Or can i go to another bank and try again ??

No - the ICB report will only show the names of lenders and account numbers of loans you currently hold, or that were active within the last five years.

But the ICB report could be a factor in you been refused a mortgage .
 

If any lender has applied for your ICB report in the last 12 months, this will appear in the History of Enquiries section of your current ICB report along with your ICB score if requested by any of the previous banks.

well my credit history is spotless thank god.... that wont be the reason if get refused, but was just wondering if it showed up or not
