Hi, just back from the DIY shop, wanted to get adhesive to tile porcelain tiles on a concrete floor ? Can I use Adhesive for ceramic tiles .. its much cheaper. Whats the difference anyways ?

I have to paint a sealer on to these tiles as well - do i just give it one coat and wait for it to dry ? Should I leave them for a few hours ?

Thanks for you help ?

Waiting to buy the adhesive,

anybody know which one I should go for ?

if your putting down porcelain tiles you have to use flexible adhesive . if you use normal rapid set you could have tiles popping up in the future. there is a polmer additive in the flexible adhesive with insures the the tile sticks properly to the porcelain tile

Don't buy porcelain that you have to seal yourself,
It will stain and will cost you more in the long run than proper porcelain.
Most of this stuff you have to seal yourself stains very easily and is cheap chinese tile that is very porous. You can get plenty real porcelain that doesnt need to be sealed.Just be careful.

Adhesive for porcelain is different to the stuff for normal tiles, flexible adhesive would be best for the job and dont skimp on cheap adhesive or your floor will definitely pop.
