Hi everyone

If I have a judgment against me for a debt (in process of sorting it)
Significant amount

Will this debt judgment affect my spouses job in retail?


Hope someone can help
 
If it wouldn't affect your own job then why do you think that it might affect her's?

Would a judgement harm my job prospects?

Sorry if this is wrong section couldn’t find correct Is it possible to get a job with bad credit example debt judgment, in the likes of shop or factory Are credit checks for these regularly done or is it usually for financial jobs Hope someone can help to put mind at ease

Is this yet another question about a judgement that hasn't even been issued against you and is thus hypothetical?

The only thing that occurs to me is that there might be a problem for OP's spouse if he/she was a guarantor for any element of the debt.
 
It should not impact a spouses job as long as they are not a guarantor on the debt in question.
