WiFi availability Southern France

Hi,
Anyone know if wifi is available in internet cafes in France. Going to the Var region and need to take my laptop. Am exchanging homes with a family in the Var region (Plan d'Aups) and they don't have internet access so I'll need to get hook up somewhere. Just wonder if anyone knows anything about this?

Does your laptop not also have a wired ethernet port such that you are not restricted to wireless?
