I am checking if any extra tax credit for a widower - spouse passed 2 years ago. He is paye worker. No children.

Can also claim surviving spouse pension, if they haven't done so already.

Based off PRSI contributions so not means tested.

Yes, it is 540 euro per year, as they have no dependent children.
