Why no mortgage info in Best Buys?

I notice that in the Financial Best Buys, the mortgage threads have been hidden as they are so out-of-date. Is there a particular reason why this info is not maintained regularly - frequency of change, for example? Pity as I'm looking for such info for myself.

On a tangent, if there a particular book on mortgages that anyone would recommend to a first-time buyer? Presumable an Irish one so that it goes into the particulars of this market.

[broken link removed] series of articles isn't bad.
Other lenders also issue their own booklets that stick to the facts and don't contain much if any hard selling.
