Why is the All-Ireland not open for everyone to watch today?

Why are RTE blocking the final on the RTE Player so that only Irish residents can watch it?

Its not as if they are competing with Sky, or have rights issues.

Good chance to let ex-pats around the world see it, and maybe let some non-Irish see the sport.

Why block it?

The rights are sold internationally. There are pubs all over the world showing it.

Ah I see, pity we can't even watch it in NI.
