I am just stunned that 81 people could make such a stupid mistake.

Did no one say to Dara Calleary - "this is not a good idea!" ?

Surely someone must have...

ok, I have googled it. Enda Kenny played golf that day, but refused to attend the dinner.

So to be clear : 158 out of our 160 TDs did not attend the dinner.

The article is disappointing and doesn't really contribute much. I would like to hear of people who were invited who said that they would not go and that the event should not go ahead.

Many here will be shocked by this but I was not invited to the event.
