Getting around to wiring up surround sound speakers

Have the cable and going to run it on top of skirting board and then paint them white to cover them up

Is there anywhere you can get white speaker cables so I dont have to paint them ?

I bought a load of it in bulk a few years back. May have been from Richer Sounds when they were here. You should be able to get it from other electrical outlets though - e.g. XMusic (Richer Sounds offshoot), Peats, Maplin etc.
 
Yeah, I got some in Curry's near Liffey Valley. Its flat cable so is ideal for running along a flat topped skirting board or around architraves(sp?).
 
To give it a nearer finish get some "mini trunking" it's skickey back so easy to fit and looks neat. Available from any electrical wholesalers.
 
Or you could get flat speaker cables and hide them under the carpet or other floor covering?
 
B&Q sell white speaker cable, it's 1mm (twin strand) and is less than 30euro for a 25m reel (I can't remember exactly) - I'm doing exactly the same as u.
