Whirlpool Side by Side Fridge Freezer - Ice maker not working...

This Whirlpool has an ice dispenser and a filtered water dispenser on the freezer door.

Just the other day, we noticed that the ice bucket was empty.

The manual said to change the water filter, so I did. However, still no ice.

There are very few moving parts and I'm pretty sure that no one was tampering with it, so any ideas for what I might try myself before resorting to an engineer call out?

I have Similar Problem .. Water stoped Flowing -- I replaced the Fliter - Still no Water to the Ice Making Machine nor to the Water Dispencer --
I have Noticed the Water is Getting to the Filter - as when i removed it after fittting it was dripping water -
I also notice there is no Noise ( Hum) when i press the Water Dispencer--
Just a Thought but could the Fridge be Air Locked ??
Please let us know if you get the Problem Sorted
My Fridge is only 2 Year in opperation
This is the First time i'v replaced the Filter !!

Yes, problem sorted after three(!) callouts.

Turned out to be the front panel, by which I mean the circuit board that is situated behind the water and ice dispenser levers.

We had registered the fridge when we bought it, so parts were covered. Only had to pay labour.
