Hi,

I have to fly to London ( Brick Lane ) on Sept the 19th. Which would be the best airport to fly into taking into account cost and minimum fuss to get to brick lane ?

Thanks....

Definitely not Heathrow - wrong side of London.

Would suggest Stansted, as the Stansted Express will drop you to Liverpool Street in 40 minutes, which is only a short stroll from Brick Lane. Also, possibly cheaper than flying into Heathrow.

Alternatively City Airport would be fine, but flights a bit more expensive.

Stanstead would be the best for convenience. It's only about a 10 min walk to Brick Lane from Liverpool Street (Out the Bishopsgate entrance). Tickets are a bit pricey for the [broken link removed]. It takes about 45 minutes and costs £18

If you go via Heathrow, get the Tube to Holborn and change there for the Central Line Eastbound. It should take about an hour and a quarter or so, and only costs £4.

Agreed

City is certainly easiest (but flights are almost always expensive - and not so frequent, especially on the weekend)

Stansted with the Stansted Express to Liverpool Sreet would be good option too

Heathrow to Brick Lane area would be over an hour on the Tube, with at least one change ... not the easiest option.

Plus Ryanair do not fly to Heathrow so flights there are usually more expensive than to LGW, Luton or Stansted.
Stansted is your best option for price and convenience.

There are also bus services from Stansted to the City, which might be cheaper than the train. There is also a train service to London Bridge from Gatwick airport (not as frequent as trains to Victoria)
