Speaking purely from personal experience, I reckon Triton might be a better buy. My mother had a Triton shower installed in her bathroom many years ago, and it's still going strong. For that reason, I invested in a Triton shower for my own home (the Bewitch model, to be precise) and, to date, have had no problems with it.
Don't fall into the trap I fell into though car - a "power shower" is just that: provides a pump for power, but uses hot water from your cylinder & will not heat water. An "electric shower" will provide instant hot water. Maybe some models can do both though.
Its for an ensuite bathroom where the water is pumped into already. Pump is currently beside the water tank. Hot and cold pumped to ensuite shower, sink and toilet (just cold to toilet ).
Pump is very loud, wanted to disconnect water pump to shower, and have a pumped electric shower taking in the cold water and heating it. I think those shower models above are the ones to suit.
I started a new job recently that gets me up before the rest of the house and the pump is waking everyone up when using the bathroom. Ive been told that the water pumps of the variety that sit beside the water tank in the airing cupboard can come in the silent models but are pricey. Does anyone know what those models are?
If you live in an area with a lot of lime in the water then I would NOT recommend the Mira Elite. My in-laws are on about their 4th Mira Elite and it is due to lime in the water...
I have advised on a water softner but they won't...
