Where to go for a short holiday

Hi

I'm seriously in need of a break, I want to get away from work, the phone, the house, my friends ... just myself & Mrs. G>2B for a few days away :)

I'm thinking about between 3-5 days, needs to be abroad - Europe somewhere, me thinks & not overly expensive.

I've been to the following to date & fancy somewhere new:

* Europe (Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Mountpellier, Milan, Rome, Sorento, Copenhagen, Prague, Brussels)
* USA (Florida, New York, New Jersey, New Orleans & Boston)
* Various Parts of Ireland & The UK (London, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh)

Any suggestions please ?

Try the Maldives (yourself and Mrs G should love it!).

Closer to home we liked Venice, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Luzern and Carcassonne best.
 
The Baltic

Head to either Vilnius in Lithuania or Riga in Latvia. Cheap for food, drink and accomodation. Not too hard to get to from Ireland nowadays.

After some soul searching, we finally settled on Dubrovnik. Anyone know of anything worth doing or seeing there etc ?
