Where to get a really minor car part

Hi all,

I've a 2001 Mazda 323 and the rubber connector connecting the windscreen wiper rotary motor to the wiper spindle has worn down a bit and needs replacing. Mazda only sells entire spindle units for c.€125, but the part I'm looking for should only cost about €2. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could pick one up (I'm in Dublin 3)? I've phoned a couple of car dismantlers but the part is so minor that even they don't stock them. I've been told there are a few scrapyards in East Wall but are they worth checking out?

Hope so. It's a fairly unnerving experience heading down the N11 in lashing rain only for the wipers to suddenly stop working!

If that doesn't work then the scrap yards or crash repair places would be your best bet.
