Hi,

I need to get a deep or high or big - not sure how to describe it - mitre for my skirtingboards. I have one, but it's only about 3cm deep, whereas my skirtingboards are easily 10 cm high. Is there such a thing as a 10cm or higher mitre, or does anyone have any tips and tricks handy on how to get good 45 degree angles for corners on such high skirting boards?

Obviously I could try and glue on, screw on bits to the mitre I have to make it higher, but that requires a good bit of patience and precision, so maybe if I could get a ready made one, it would be much easier!

Many thanks!

No actually, I'm refering to definition number two:

Main Entry: 1mi·ter [broken link removed]
Variant(s): or mi·tre [broken link removed] /'mI-t&r/
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English mitre, from Anglo-French, from Latin mitra headband, turban, from Greek
1 : a liturgical headdress worn by bishops and abbots
2 [perhaps from miter headdress] a : a surface forming the beveled end or edge of a piece where a joint is made by cutting two pieces at an angle and fitting them together b : [SIZE=-1]MITER JOINT[/SIZE]

I have actually found what I need, so just for future reference for other people who might need something like this - it comes sideways and cuts up to 6 inch high skirting: [broken link removed]
