where to find upcoming car boot sales/weekend markets etc.

Hi All

I'm looking to refurbish my house with old style furniture but don't know any good sources advertising upcoming car boot sales/old farmhouse clearance sales etc around the greater Dublin area. I was thinking that local newsletters might be a place to start but it would be a hard job trying to track them all! I've tried calling out to a few Buy & Sell advertisements but I find that it takes too many trips to find anything I'd actually buy. I'm looking for a one-stop-shop! Something along the lines of the Blackrock Market would be ideal.

Anybody got any good ideas? Any help would be most appreciated!

Try Buckley's in Sandycove Tel. 01 280 5408 - there's an auction every Thursday at 2.30pm with viewing all day Wednesday.

There's a mix of items available and the 'front room' and 'gallery areas' might be what you're looking for.

Also bear in mind that the auction rooms empty every Thursday and new wares come in on Fridays for the following weeks auction. You may have to go a few times to get what you're looking for.
