Where to find data on tax rates from 1990 onwards?

Anyone got a link to historical data on tax rates, essentially from 1990 onwards - i am particularly interested in gift tax legislaton from that period onwards.

Most sites like tax find provided by the institute of tax you have to pay for access. otherwise have you got tax summary? also published by the instsiute that has a rates and table section with historical rates
 
Budget information dating from 1997 is [broken link removed] so you should be able to figure out the relevant rates for that period at least.
 
tax summary is probably the best book you can get for a summary of tax information as follows



otherwise check out tax archive - new book with all rates back to 1973
