Where to buy solid wooden worktop

Hi,

I am building a house in kerry and resently got my kitchen in B&Q, I did not get the worktops there as I found them a little on the exspensive side. Does anyone know where I can get reason solid wooden counters, I have an island as well.

Bit of a trek from Kerry, but IKEA in Belfast do solid oak/birch/beech worktops in various sizes at very reasonable prices. Their website has details (www.ikea.com), dleivery is about £100 I think.

I know that woodworkers Ltd in Terenure in Dublin - Tel 4901968 also do them. You could ring them to see costs before a trip up..

Woodworkers publish prices on their [broken link removed]. They'll cut to size for you as well.
