Anyone know a company that sells & delivers sand?

Need a tonne of the stuff to lay a patio!

http://www.bryko.net is based in Blessington Co Wicklow and introduced the tonne bag of sand concept to Ireland. You can buy from them directly or the wholesale to a lot of other builders providers.
