Where to buy cardboard storage boxes?

Hi all,

Hopefully this is the correct place to put this, if not, Mods please move.

Would anyone know where I can buy cardboard storage boxes in Dublin? Preferably a heavier duty and larger than office archive boxes.

It's probably mentioned in the threads referred to by Sueellen but, if not, a good place to look is any storage facility - they usually sell a range of boxes. Argos do some too that are intended for use while moving house, so they might do the trick.
 
If you are looking form Boxes to store files and papers a decent office supplies company will be able to sort you out. Viking Direct sell them as well.
 
Why don't you ask local businesses to see if they have any strong boxes going for recycling.

If you're near a cinema, ask them for some empty popcorn carton boxes, they're nice and strong and I'm sure the cinema wouldnt mind helping you out, as they only throw them away after use.

Have you tried Carabay? Not in Dublin but considerably cheaper than anyone else that I priced up for boxes and were recomended by a friend.
 
Go into someone who sells Fruit & Veg, and get Banana and Apple boxes. These boxes have a lid a fraction larger than the box which fits over the entire box. They are strong for stacking and have a handle for lifting. Put some packing tape on the bottom to make it stronger.
