Where to buy an Optoma dv10 projector?

hi all,

I want to buy an Optoma dv10 home projector. I think that Curry's may sell them for around 900 euro or so.

Anyone know where else I should look for one in Ireland? Is it likely to be much cheaper from the States? I tried to order off amazon.com but it says it can't be delivered to Ireland or to the UK.

I'm heading to the UK next week to visit friends, would it be any cheaper over there do you think?

So Ireland v UK v USA - apart from the repair/return issues, which is the cheapest?

By the way, does anyone have one of these machines? What do you think of it?
 
Plenty of UK based suppliers listed every month in magazines such as What Hi-Fi.
Check Pixmania as they seem to have good deals on electronics.
I personally wouldn't purchase in the USA because of voltage, PAL V NTSC and then possibly any warranty issues.
 
do BENQ projectors from about -ish, unless you have your heart set on that Optoma model for some reason?

I know our crowd in work order a lot of gear from CPC and find them good.

I do have my heart set on the Optoma as it has a built in dvd player so dead handy for home use.

CPC - are they based in Ireland?

Will check pixmania also.
