Just wondering which bank offers the best rate for a lump sum. I do not want to save any extra money into this account I just want to leave the lump sum sitting on it own getting the best interest that I can.
Depends on the amount of the lump sum. Up to 10k Rabodirect is the best at 5%, after that Northern Rock at 4.30% (both internet banks with immediate access to your money). Your information is vague. Do you intend leaving it for long term? Are you prepared for risk? What did the institution where your SSIA was invested offer you?
