where do I buy a storage heater?

I want to move our storage heater but the place I want to put it would need a slightly shorter version. Now that the esb shops are gone where does a person buy such a thing?
 
Meteor Electrical, who have been mentioned in these pages previously, stock these. I'd assume most electrical wholesalers would also supply storage heaters.

Make sure you know what you're doing before attempting this yourself, general rule of thumb with electrics is if you're not 100% sure, get a pro.

Generally storage heaters are sold through electrical wholesalers, not really a DIY item because they are extremely heavy.

Check out the Dimplex website, there is a guide to storage heaters which gives sizes and dimensions .
 
When Unidare were in Finglas they used to sell them directly to the public.
