Where are my old eircom shares?

Hi,

I bought some shares (i think around £6,000) back in the eircom flotation - I never did anything with these since. I know Valentia bought out the shares since but I'm not sure what happened at that time

Any advice on how to investigate what I should have or have already received?

eircell[2000] was demerged from eircom and sold to Vodafone. You should have received Vodafone shares in respect if your nominal eircell[2000] shares. Later you should have received a payment from Valentia for your remaining eircom shares. But I think you may have had to send the shares back to claim the money. If you didn't then either you can still do this or else maybe there was some time limit and you have missed out?

As far as I know as Valentia secured over 90% of the shares in eircom at the time they could take over the remaining 10% automactially....meaning you should have received a cheque for the bid value of the shares and your shares would have been cancelled.
