My HB and I signed contracts, but the builder keeps changing the date of completion, It started at completing the end of March, then it was the end of April, then he said May, the foreman is now saying no way will it be ready the end of May, more like Mid June, can he just keep changing the date. We have to organise to get painters etc in prior to moving in ourselves and its doesnt seem fair, to keep changing the dates they can do the work too.
Is there any way we can get the builder to give us a date and stick to it? I've seen on other posts that this appears to happen regularly, but our house is so near completion, as it was when we paid deposit and signed contracts, I cant understand how its taking so long to complete. Any advise, info?
