Hello all,

This year I have earned some dividend income on stocks held in a US broker.

I would appreciate if people could advise how I pay the Irish tax on these i.e. what form do I fill in and when do I need to pay by?

Thank you very much for your help.

If you are a PAYE worker then you can use PAYE online. It's actually quite simple to use. You will have to wait until the new year when this year's earnings have been added through your P60. Don't have the deadline on hand, but I'm sure the revenue website will have that info.

afterflood..to convert the us dollar into euro use the data available on the central bank web site. thats what i do for sterling and us dollar conversions.

as pp said the paye revenue online system works perfectly.

As Chris said you have to use P60 to figure out how much tax you have to pay (or to understand what tax rate you have to pay).

I'm not sure about Ireland but in England if you got dividend this tax year then you'll get your P60 in May 2011 and have to declare your extra (dividend) earnings by 31 January 2012.
