What's the best way to clean an asphalt driveway?

We are in the process of selling a property that has a large asphalt driveway.

It's not looking as prisine as it could and I'm wondering what the best way is to resore it to something similar to the way it looked when it was first laid.

We have a power washer, but fear that it might damage the surface - is there any other way of cleaning it?

If you want to wash off algae growth etc. you could spray it with a strong solution of Jeyes fluid followed by hosing it down with water and brushing with a yard brush. It will freshen it up and at little cost but a lot of elbow grease is required!
