Hi guys would appreciate any advice, currently drive a 1.6 petrol skoda octavia with 118k miles on it. Its not going too well and i drive on average 1000Km's a week. So lots of money being spent on petrol.
I have recently spoke to my boss and i will not be recieving a company car till summer 2009. I need a new/used car preferably diesel, what would ye recommened something that might hold its value for another two years, sell on once i get the company car?

What about a 03/04 passat TDI? what is high milegae for them?

Get yourself over to england. Buy a car there, pay vrt and still save 3-4 grand, that will offset any loss in value over 2 year period. Have a look at autotrader.co.uk and compare. Good profit to be made on volvo s60 and audi a4's.
Good luck

Beware of cars with "hair cuts" and ringers too. HPI any prospective purchase.

I dont know what i would be looking for in terms of the english site, i want a diesel 02 upwards not more than €10,000 to spend something with lowish mileage but dependable.

Was thinking passat
Avensis
Octavia
Audi
Mondeo

Is there much savings going to england to get it?

"Haircut" means car is clocked.

"Ringer" is a car that has been cloned or cut n' shut.
