What we know about Ireland from action.

I'd rather go by action over words, as action is the only thing that counts. So here's what we know.

In Ireland, we encourage people to work for the public sector.

In Ireland, we value long lasting debates/talks over action.

In Ireland, we value staying the same over change.

We value home owners over renters.

In Ireland, you are often better taken care of if you choose not to work over choosing to work.

In Ireland, if unemployed, you are better valued if you aren't married.

In Ireland, we value emigration as a remedy to unemployment.

Or am I being too cynical?

Any other things to add to the list?

In Ireland we discourage entrepreneurship, by taxing directors more, and giving them less social welfare entitlements.

In Ireland, soft corruption rules.
