Hi,

My tenants are moving out after 8 years. Going to be doing a good bit of work to it but wondering do landlords still provide cutlery, plates, bowls etc. are is the onus now more on the tenants?

Thanks

It is something that had changed over time, landlords having been providing less furnishings... what is provided in any particular property isn't concrete.
In our case, when we last moved (2017) only the white goods in the kitchen were in place, we brought our own cutlery/utensils. If the property was being rented to (say) students or young adults, cutlery would more likely be provided IMO.
Probably easier to think of it - anything that could be listed individually on a lease record should probably come from the landlord, no one would expect the number of forks or side plates to be included in that!

Hi again,

Nearly finished with the reno of the house at last!! Looking for kitchen press liners, anyone know a DIY store that does them? Don't want to buy online as probably won't get them in time.

Thanks
